For many students, school starts in a week from today.
If you haven’t already started preparing for this, there is no time to waste. If you still haven’t gotten school supplies or gone school shopping you will want to be sure to go this week. Luckily, many stores are having “Back to School Sales” and “Labor Day Sales” so you can still find great deals on everything your student needs!
Students should be on there school sleep schedule. This means going to bed at a decent time and waking up at the time that they will need to once school starts. Starting this schedule now will help them adjust to school better and save them from sleep derivation their first week.
Lastly, encourage your student to meet up with friends or attend an event before school starts. Many sports teams have already started competing and are a great event to foster friendships. Re-establishing these friendships before school starts will help your student find friendly faces more easily on the first day of school!
